  • Well, this is timely. I was reading your sermon as procrastination from picking up a script I’ll be rehearsing with some other actors tonight. I was trying to figure out why I was feeling resistance to beginning work on this character: after all, acting is my favorite thing to do. Now it’s not so mysterious! Off to face the void.

      Oh yes, resistance is the right word! I have felt that sooo often when embarking on a creative project. It’s funny how sometimes we fight things that are good for us, and other times fight things that are bad for us. Knowing the difference is the tricky bit…
