It had a secret name<\/p><\/div>\n

which in later years came to mean<\/div>\n
I will continue to stand here.<\/em><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/em><\/div>\n
It had a food mouth<\/div>\n
and a shrieking mouth.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Popular wisdom indicated<\/div>\n
that Its hands could heat stones<\/div>\n
and that a man could cook<\/div>\n
meat on those stones.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
That being said,<\/div>\n
It had a poverty hand<\/div>\n
and a riches hand.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
They were<\/div>\n
the same hand.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
A little ways above the hands<\/div>\n
the mouths spoke together<\/div>\n
but for two<\/div>\n
different reasons,<\/div>\n
like the music was behaving<\/div>\n
but the orchestra was broken.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
*<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Even in less<\/div>\n
benevolent moments,<\/div>\n
It was known to use Its own<\/div>\n
body as a tent and as the gifts<\/div>\n
inside of the tent.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Early people said It had a mother hand<\/div>\n
and a father hand, and that together<\/div>\n
they made a clapping sound.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Its hands delivered the children<\/div>\n
from madness.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The hands saw the riverbank sliding<\/div>\n
into the river<\/div>\n
to make<\/div>\n
a more shallow river.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
They scooped the mud up.<\/div>\n
The hands were giving thanks.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
*<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The hands smelled like exodus.<\/div>\n
The hands were the law.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
One hand grew older, and the other<\/div>\n
hand younger.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
They said, fairly often,<\/div>\n
We\u2019d like to try that again.<\/em><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/em><\/div>\n
Both were restless<\/div>\n
and wanted rest.<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/em><\/div>\n
One hand said,\u00a0I will go where you go,<\/em><\/div>\n
while the other hand continued<\/div>\n
on alone.<\/p>\n
